Cebu Pacific acquires domestic airline AirSwift

AirSwift was previously owned by the Ayala Group.

It gives CEB more connectivity to tourism hotspot Palawan.

AirSwift operates flights to El Nido, Palawan from Manila and Clark and from Cebu, Boracay, Coron and Bohol.

“Cebu Pacific continues to undertake measures to boost connectivity to various Philippine destinations while offering low fares, thus contributing to tourism development goals,” CEB president Xander Lao said.

For now, AirSwift will continue operating its current flight schedules while it is integrated into Cebu Pacific

Cebu Pacific’s current slight network consists of 35 domestic and 26 international destinations.
