Iberia to offer free Starlink connectivity

The service will be free for all customers—economy, premium economy, and business.

This initiative will begin implementation in 2026.

Starlink’s technology, based on a network of thousands of low-Earth orbit satellites, will offer download speeds of up to 450 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 70 Mbps.

The agreement between IAG and Starlink will enable high-speed connectivity and enhance the customer experience from boarding to landing.

It is part of the airline’s Flight Plan 2030 strategy to drive digitalization, artificial intelligence, and the creation of Ciudad Iberia, a cutting-edge aeronautical innovation hub.
