Qantas launching nonstop flights to Las Vegas

Las Vegas 680953 640 Qantas is expanding its North American network with nonstop transpacific flights to La Vegas.

The flag carrier will launch Las Vegas flights departing from Sydney in December.

The seasonal route will operate three times a week from 29 December through 12 March 2027 on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, which accommodate 236 passengers.

Departures are scheduled on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

“Our fleet renewal is giving us the flexibility to deploy aircraft where we see demand,” said Qantas International CEO Cam Wallace.

“Las Vegas becomes our 101st destination and is a great example of how we’re using that capability.”

The airline has operated sold out charter flights to Sin City for the past two years for rugby fans to attend the NRL annual season kick-off event in Las Vegas.

This will be Qantas’ first regularly scheduled flights to Sin City.

It becomes the airline’s sixth US destination, joining Dallas-Fort Worth, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco and Honolulu.
