Singapore to add sustainable aviation fuel levy to air tickets

Singapore will introduce a new Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) levy for departing air passengers from January 1, 2027, adding another charge to airline tickets as the city-state accelerates its aviation decarbonization efforts.
