US airlines suspend Dubai, Doha flights

All scheduled Israel flights are still grounded.

Now, US carriers have nixed services to the region’s key air hubs.

American Airlines halted flights to Qatar while United Airlines suspended its flights to Dubai.

Singapore Airlines and Air France are among several carriers which have suspended Dubai flights.

British Airways scrapped flights to Dubai and Doha, Qatar, while Dubai based Emirates announced the suspension of flights to Iran and Iraq.

Israel is expanding rescue flights to evacuate an estimated 25,000 foreign nationals still in the country.

It expects to operate 24 flights a day over the coming days.

Airlines operating long haul flights into the region could also cut back due to surging fuel prices brought on by the conflict.
