Wizz Air rolling out premium service across entire network

Wizz Air3 Pan European low-cost carrier Wizz Air is set to expand its new WIZZ class premium service across its entire fleet following a successful trial period.

The airline says it has received positive feedback after initially trialling it on selected routes.

The service was tested on flights at six of its airport bases with feedback ‘overwhelmingly positive’ it says.

WIZZ class seats are limited to just four per flight.

The service blocks off the middle seat in the first row, which offers more legroom.

These seats include a free drink and snack.

WIZZ Class is sold as an add-on service with the Smart or Plus fare bundles, which come with a free 10kg carry-on bag and priority boarding.

It has been marketed as a low-cost premium alternative and says it has been embraced by business travellers in particular.

“After testing WIZZ Class, it became clear that passengers – especially business travellers – value the extra comfort and space,” said Silvia Mosquera, Wizz Air Commercial Officer.

“Even with the limited initial rollout, demand has exceeded expectations. That’s why we’re now extending WIZZ Class across the network.”
