Air France launches its new La Première cabin on flights to San Francisco

The new product operates daily on selected Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. During the summer season, Air France offers up to two daily flights between the cities, with a second service operated by an Airbus A350-900.

The new La Première cabin is now available to and from seven US cities: Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York-JFK, San Francisco and Washington, D.C. The redesigned suites currently operate to Los Angeles, Miami, New York-JFK and San Francisco.

Air France plans to expand the product further, with 19 Boeing 777-300ERs expected to feature the new La Première cabin and serve 13 destinations from Paris-Charles de Gaulle this summer 2026.

A private airport experience
In San Francisco, La Première passengers receive dedicated check-in, personalized assistance, baggage handling and an escort through security. They can then relax in a private area within the Air France lounge, with dining and bar service, before being personally escorted to the aircraft.

At Paris-Charles de Gaulle, the experience is even more private. Passengers are met by a porter, assisted through a dedicated check-in lobby and given access to an exclusive La Première lounge with dining, relaxation, wellness and workspace areas. Guests arriving in Paris can also use the private facilities before collecting their baggage.

Passengers are transferred to their aircraft in Porsche Cayenne hybrid vehicles operating in electric mode.

Four private suites
Each Boeing 777-300ER features four La Première suites. Each occupies five windows and combines a seat with a separate day bed that converts into a two-meter-long fully flat bed.

Floor-to-ceiling curtains provide privacy, while two 32-inch 4K screens offer more than 1,500 hours of entertainment. Suites also include Bluetooth-enabled noise-canceling headphones, wireless charging, USB-A and USB-C ports and a touchscreen tablet controlling the seat, lighting, window shades and entertainment.

French fine dining
Menus reinforce the French identity of the product. From San Francisco, chef Daniel Boulud has created seasonal dishes such as truffle-stuffed sole and saffron chicken. Pastry chef Laurent Le Daniel provides desserts.

From Paris, chef Anne-Sophie Pic has created dishes including lobster and crab ravioli and grilled artichokes with creamy Comté polenta. Pastry chef Claire Heitzler provides desserts featuring seasonal French ingredients.
