The latest distinction for Dusit Thani Bangkok upgrades the property from One to Two Michelin Keys in the 2026 Michelin Guide hotel selection. The Two-Key rating recognizes an “exceptional stay,” putting the Bangkok flagship among the higher-rated hotels in Michelin’s global hotel program.
The 257-room hotel reopened in September 2024 following a major redevelopment of the site occupied by the original Dusit Thani Bangkok, which operated from 1970 until 2019. It now forms part of Dusit Central Park, a mixed-use development opposite Lumpini Park that also includes luxury residences, offices, retail space and a rooftop park.
The redesigned hotel combines elements of Dusit’s Thai hospitality heritage with contemporary architecture and design. All guest rooms feature views of Lumpini Park, while the property’s dining and guest experiences are designed around its Bangkok location.
Dusit’s Michelin recognition extends beyond its flagship property. Dusit Thani Kyoto in Japan and Dusit Thani Mactan Cebu Resort in the Philippines have retained One Michelin Key status, which recognizes a “very special stay.”
Three properties under Dusit’s ASAI lifestyle brand are also included in Michelin’s hotel selection: ASAI Bangkok Chinatown, ASAI Bangkok Sathorn and ASAI Kyoto Shijo. Michelin inspectors select hotels based on factors including quality, character and their connection with their destinations.
The group’s restaurant portfolio has also attracted Michelin attention.
Cannubi by Umberto Bombana at Dusit Thani Bangkok retains One Michelin Star in the Michelin Guide Thailand 2026. The contemporary Italian restaurant, which received its first Star in the 2026 edition, is currently the only Italian restaurant in Thailand with the distinction.
At Baan Dusit Thani in Bangkok, Vietnamese restaurant Thien Duong retains its Michelin Bib Gourmand, recognizing cooking considered both good quality and good value.
In the Philippines, Benjarong, which serves Thai cuisine, and Japanese restaurant Umu at Dusit Thani Manila are both listed as Michelin Selected restaurants in the 2026 Michelin Guide Philippines.
Namak, the contemporary Indian restaurant at Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi, also remains Michelin Selected in the UAE.
Dusit Group CEO Chanin Donavanik said the recognition reflects the work of its teams and the company’s approach of combining Thai hospitality traditions with contemporary guest expectations.
