Parade Hotel Bath to welcome guests from September

The property has been restored and redesigned as a 49-room luxury hotel spanning three preserved Georgian townhouses on North Parade, reflecting the superb architecture of Bath with its classical crescents and squares.

Bath has a staggering 5,000 listed buildings offering Britain’s most impressive Georgian architecture which explains why the city is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Operated by Providence Hotels, the six-floor property combines the buildings’ historic character with contemporary amenities. Accommodation ranges from compact Snug rooms to suites sleeping up to four guests.

All rooms will feature air conditioning, smart TVs and tea and coffee facilities. Three Spa Garden Rooms will offer direct access to the hotel’s new Courtyard Spa.

The spa is designed around indoor-outdoor wellness, with a sauna, cold plunge, hot tub, cold drench and outdoor shower. A treatment room will also offer cleansing and relaxation experiences.

Food and drink will initially center on the new 1748 Bar & Lounge, where breakfast will highlight produce from the West Country.

A restaurant is planned as part of the hotel’s second phase, with an opening expected toward the end of 2026.

Joe Bester, CEO of Providence Hotels, said the company was proud to open the hotel in what it considers one of Bath’s most distinctive locations.

The project marks the first property that Providence Hotels has completely restored and redesigned.

The hotel is positioned close to some of Bath’s best-known attractions, including the Roman Baths, Bath Abbey and Pulteney Bridge, making it suitable for both leisure visitors and city-break travelers.

Parade Hotel Bath adds to Bath’s growing boutique hotel offering while bringing a new hospitality concept to a historic city-center address. Providence Hotels also manage two further properties in Bath, the Kennard as well as the Hiding Space.
